Fr. Jeremy Bock is dedicated to serving the St. Joseph’s Catholic School community through his vocation as a priest and his passion for sharing the Catholic faith. Originally from Brainerd, Minnesota, he was ordained to the priesthood in 2017 and has served in several parishes and school communities across the Diocese of Duluth.
Fr. Jeremy began his ministry at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary in Duluth, where he also worked with the newly formed Stella Maris Academy. He later served at Blessed Sacrament in Hibbing and Assumption Catholic School before being assigned to the parishes of Bigfork, Squaw Lake, and Northome in 2021. In 2023, he began serving the Grand Rapids community, where he continues to support St. Joe’s.
He has a deep love for teaching the faith and guiding others in their spiritual lives. Fr. Jeremy enjoys meaningful conversations about God, encouraging questions, and helping students and families grow in their understanding of prayer and their relationship with Christ. He especially values the opportunity to interact with students throughout the school day.
Before entering the priesthood, Fr. Jeremy studied geology and worked for a year before discerning his call to serve the Church. Much of his early life centered around athletics, including football, basketball, and track and field, and he continues to bring that same energy and enthusiasm into his ministry.
Fr. Jeremy is grateful to be part of the St. Joe’s community and is committed to supporting its mission of forming students in faith, knowledge, and service.
