MRS. LORI LAGERGREN

With a passion for nurturing young minds and a dedication to Catholic education, Mrs. Lagergren is an invaluable asset to the St. Joseph’s School community. She has a background steeped in Catholic education; a teaching journey that began in 1996 after graduating from The College of St. Scholastica.

Raised in St. Cloud and educated in Catholic schools, Mrs. Lagergren's commitment to Catholic education is deeply rooted. She spent over a decade teaching at St. James Catholic School in Duluth before relocating to Grand Rapids in 2007 where she embraced the opportunity to join the faculty at St. Joe’s to teach sixth grade. As parents, she and her husband were thrilled to be able to enroll their own two children in the school.

Middle-level learners hold a special place in Mrs. Lagergren's heart. She believes this age group is at a pivotal stage where they begin to explore the world around them and understand their potential to make a difference. Mrs. Lagergren's goal is to instill a love for learning in her students, encouraging them to reach their fullest God-given potential.

Mrs. Lagergren’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth ensures that her students are well-equipped for success in their academic pursuits and personal journeys.
